Davina stands up to Cancer

Davina, Alan Carr and Dr Christian Jessen will front Channel 4's live fundraiser Stand Up To Cancer.

The evening of comedy and entertainment, which has been partly organised by Gwyneth Paltrow and Cancer Research UK, will air on October 19.

A bumper selection of stars and TV shows including The Simpsons, Tom Daley, Kylie Minogue, Leona Lewis, Jonnie Peacock, Emeli Sande, Jenson Button, JLS, Jimmy Carr, Jack Whitehall, Anna Friel, the cast of 8 out of 10 Cats, The English National Ballet, Martin Freeman, Miranda Hart, Simon Bird and David Hasselhoff will add their support to SU2C UK.

Carr will front a super-sized version of his Chatty Man show and McCall's big money quiz Million Pound Drop will have a charity special.

Dr Christian will front science coverage across the evening of how new trials are attempting to make groundbreaking breakthroughs in cancer research.
