Don’t get tyred, get inspired!
Davina is jumping back in the saddle to help inspire even more people to get out and about on their bikes this year. On Sunday 7th September she will be joining thousands of riders, of all ages and abilities, at the first ever Sky Ride Liverpool.
The event will see locals getting the chance to enjoy a fun day riding a traffic-free route through the city. The day is set to be packed full of fun, with a huge festival atmosphere and lots of activities to join in with.
British Cycling and Sky joined forces five years ago to create Sky Ride and encourage thousands of people of all ages and abilities to get on a bike and discover the fun, freedom and health benefits cycling can offer. Since the partnership was formed in 2009, more than 1.3 million people now cycle regularly as a result of the joint programmes and campaigns.
'I’ve been a mad keen cyclist for ages and I reckon what Sky and British Cycling have done to help transform cycling in the last few years is really amazing,' says Davina 'I’m so pleased to be supporting this year’s Sky Ride campaign.
