Ice baths and undercarriages with Jonathan Ross

Davina appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show on Saturday to chat about her recent Sport Relief Challenge.

Davina’s BT Sport Relief Challenge: Davina – Beyond Breaking Point saw her run, cycle and swim her way from Edinburgh to London.

She opened up to Jonathan some if the more personal aspects of her challenge including having to get in an ice bath and protecting her ‘undercarriage’ with a specially created cream!

Davina explained she was motivated through her challenge by the memories of the people she visited at some of Comic Relief’s projects. In particular Davina visited a quarry where women and children work all day collecting huge rocks and hitting them with sticks to produce bags of rubble.

“It’s such an incredibly hard life,” she said.

Davina also spoke about her “hugely emotional” upcoming series of Long Lost Family.

The episode was the last in the series and saw Davina appear alongside actress Jennifer Hudson, presenter Sue Perkins and business tycoon Richard Branson.
